GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – Sri Lanka beat West Indies by 121 runs late on the fifth and final day of the first Digicel Test match at the Guyana National Stadium on Wednesday.
Set 437 runs to win, West Indies were bowled out for 315 with six overs and four balls remaining in the match.
The result gave Sri Lanka an unbeatable 1-0 lead in the two-match series and their first ever Test win in the Caribbean.
