Bridgetown, Barbados, 09/28/2007 –Media management professionals from around the region will gather at Sherbourne Conference Centre, Barbados, for the Caribbean Media Corporation’s (CMC) 4th Annual Client Conference, on October 18-19, 2007.

This year’s conference, themed “Effective Approaches to Delivering Sports Media Content to the Caribbean,” focuses on the CMC’s strategic plans to deliver even more sports oriented programming to the region.

Conference proceedings on Oct. 18-19 will commence with a presentation by the West Indies Cricket Board’s Commercial Manager, Paul Skinner, who will brief conference participants on 2008-2009 West Indies Cricket activities.

Other presentations from the CMC’s management and staff will include plans to cover ICC Cricket activities for 2008-2015 and its plan of action as an Official Broadcaster of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

“The upcoming year will be very momentous for the CMC in the area of sports and this is an opportunity to alert our media partners about content the organisation will offer its clients,” said CMC’s Chief Operating Officer, Errol Clarke.

Since 2002, the CMC has aimed to provide regional media professionals with the opportunity to discuss and build lasting relationships amongst each other in hopes of strengthening the Caribbean broadcast industry.
