CARIBVISION BRINGS TRINIDAD CARNIVAL LIVE.

Bridgetown, Barbados, 02/01/2008 –The Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC) is pleased to announce that Tuesday, February 5, 2008 is “Super Tuesday” on its global television channel, CaribVision.

This means that between the hours of 7AM and 6PM (Eastern Caribbean Time) regional and international viewers can see LIVE all the action on Carnival Tuesday in Trinidad and Tobago.

CaribVision’s Super Tuesday coverage follows the parade of mas bands in and around the Queen’s Park Savannah in the heart of the capital, Port of Spain. It also features LIVE Carnival action from Dominica, as well as the latest developments on the campaign trail in Belize, ahead of the February 7 poll. From Port of Spain to Roseau and over to Belize City, roving camera teams and news reporters will be on hand to provide regular updates throughout the day.

“CaribVision is pleased to deliver this special coverage to the region and the wider Diaspora in partnership with the Tourism Development Company,” said Commercial and New Business Development Manager, Michael Whyte.

“This is in keeping with our mandate of providing a full diet of news, sports and other coverage that reflects the cultural diversity of the region,” he added.

CaribVision is currently seen in 21 Caribbean territories and on Direct TV in the United States.
